Material Transformation: A CNC takes a piece of material (such as metal, plastic, wood, ceramic, stone, or composite) and transforms it into a specified shape. This process follows coded programmed instructions without requiring manual operator during machining. Automation and Precision: CNC machines are motorized tools and platforms controlled by a computer. They provide highly accurate movements driven by stepper motors or servo motors. The result is precise shaping of the material according to the programmed design. Precise repeatability.

CNC Milling Patterns in MDF

These panel are CNC Milled in 0.75” medium density fiber board, or MDF with a custom repeating pattern. This can be done in concert with company branding along with incorporating a logo or tagline.

CNC Milled Design Elements in Foam

This was a series of design CNC milled into foam board. The foam was placed in a form and concrete was poured overtop, The density changes from the pattern were slightly visible in the concrete counter top. All of this was in a serious of manufacturing tests.

CNC Milled Solid Maple for Furniture Legs

These slabs are 2” thick clear maple. This was for a customer who is a wood worker specializing in his own furniture designs. These are table legs.

Hexagon Wall Panels Painted are for a content creator studio in Staunton Virginia. Cut on a CNC router and painted on site by contractor. Made from 0.25” medium density fiberboard.

CNC Milling Art Pattern in Foam

Pattern designed in Fusion360. Milled in standard home center 2” ridged insulation. Foam is often used for proof of concept along with forms for cementitious materials.
