isoPads are CNC milled billet aluminum surfaces such as trivets and coasters based on the isogrid pattern. A incredibly strong triangular lattice structure used in aerospace.
Our isoPads are milled out of 6061 aluminum with a HASS CNC vertical milling machine. The design is parametric which allows us to change the size of the unit to meet the needs of the consumer. Currently this is a MTO (made to order) product design. Let us know the size you prefer and we will give you a price quote and timeline to produce. Replacing our logo with yours is possible depending on your logo design. Last image pictured is no logo which allows you to post process to suit on your end.
Isogrid is pattern milled into metal often utilized on critical parts in the aerospace industry. Visually this is seen as a hollowed-out series of triangles forming a lattice structure. These triangles, along with stiffening ribs (often called stringers) are integral to the high strength yielded. The isogrid pattern offers a high rigidity vs weight ratio. This process can be manufactured with both subtractive manufacturing and additive manufacturing.
